Founded as a small-batch bourbon distillery by Colonel Edmund Hayes Taylor in the 1800s, Colonel E. H.
Taylor has been an innovator since its inception. Not only did the brand revolutionize distilling processes
and techniques, being the first to use copper fermentation and inventing a steam heating system still in use
today, but Taylor's meticulous and precise approach to manufacturing whiskey also made his exports some
of the most distinctive, complex and flavorsome sipping whiskeys, which they remain today. Produced in
limited quantities at the Buffalo Trace Distillery, Colonel E. H. Taylor has received countless awards, most
recently earning the Gold Medal in 2020's San Francisco World Spirits Competition for both their Small Batch

750ml container poured flawless in Glencairn at The Factional in DC. Vanilla flavor grains feed fruits. Enduring complex complete the process of waiting zest with contact of warmth. Lovely. At $14 a pour in an upscale DC foundation this was a genuine take. Love this. 7/3/19
