Couldn't tell the difference between the Hungarian 10 year rye or the 10 year rye... deception is the best word for it. Rye is just as good in texture but no difference at best 2.6, maybe 2.8 star rating.

Tasting Notes

Nose

Oaky. Peach, plum, apricot, and some floral notes also come in on the heavy fruity nose – but still so oaky.

Taste

Spiced candied citrus rinds, vanilla, earth, cashews, menthol, and sharp candied notes.

Finish

The palate continues on with the big fruit before a big vanilla-laden oak and very dry finish.
