About the brand

1949 Stewart Laing’s father Frederick founds his whisky blending business in Glasgow. Stewart Laing’s
father, Frederick 1964 Stewart joins his father in the family business, beginning his long association with
the whisky industry. Stewart Hunter Laing and his father 1970/80s Stewart develops the family’s brands,
including the House of Peers blends, in South American and Asian markets. 1990s Interest in single malt
