Canadian Club

Canadian Club began its journey into the icon it is today as far back as 1858 when it was founded by Hiram Walker, a respected grain merchant - with its first distillery established soon after in Walkerville, Ontario Canada. The brand was built on the idea of producing distinct whisky that would set it apart from many of the more generic labels out there. Growingly popular in both Canada and across the border in the US, this premium Canadian whisky soon earned the name "Club Whisky" as it was sold exclusively in elite gentlemen's clubs in the US. Because of this popularity, the US government enforced a law that required all Canadian distillers and any Canadian-made whisky to be identified as such on the label, a ruling still applicable to this day. From there - the legacy of Canadian Club was born. Canadian Club Whisky offers several iterations including the original 1858 Canadian Club, Canadian Club 100% Rye, and Canadian Club Apple - a blend of 1858 Canadian Club whisky and artisan apple liqueur that offers notes of crisp apples, cinnamon, and dark caramel.
