Pierre Ferrand is a brand of exceptional cognacs created under the Maison Ferrand boutique of fine spirits - founded by Alexandre Gabriel in 1989. The roots of Pierre Ferrand, however, go as far back as 1630 when the long lineage of Elie Ferrand first began. Along with the guidance of one Mademoiselle Henriette and up through 10 generations - each member of the Ferrand legacy held a strong influence over the family's wine-making and cognac distillation history. Ferrand Cognac was established as a family-run Grand Champagne vineyard traditionally creating Eau-de-vie and carefully handed down their methods and distillation secrets throughout the generations until the brand was purchased by Alexandre Gabriel as Madison Ferrand. This well-established Cognac house is the 6th largest producer in the Cognac region and was cited by The Spirit Journal in 1999 as being a cognac brand "In the upper echelon for connoisseurs". Pierre Ferrand offers a lineup that includes their 1840 Original Formula, a selection of superior Collection Privee unblinded vintages, and limited edition releases and continues to garner much acclaim and favor among enthusiasts and experts around the globe.
