Signatory Vintage is an independent bottler of superior whisky founded in 1988 by Andrew Symington and his brother. The name "Signatory" came from Symington's aim to have every bottle signed by a celebrity. The story goes that the very first cask Signatory ever bottled was a 1968 Glenlivet, and before the bottler could find a celebrity to sign, the bottles had all been sold! The idea for the brand lives on, however, signified solely by the name Signatory. Now primarily based in the highlands of Edradour, Signatory Vintage provides a range of superior whiskies, sourcing all-natural malts and premium distillates from only the best distillery Scotland has to offer. The brand prides itself on being one of the most discerning independent bottlers in the world - bottling one cask at a time for a truly unique and highly sought-after whisky experience every time. Signatory Vintage's portfolio includes a selection of cask-strength whiskies up to 35 years old and up, a bold 86-proof collection, and a series of un-chill filtration iterations - such as the Signatory Vintage Dailuaine Vintage 1997 Single Malt Scotch.
