Woody Creek Distillers was founded in 2012 by Pat and Mary Scanlan with the help of Mark Kleckner. Situated in the idyllic town of Basalt in Roaring Fork Valley, Colorado, Woody Creek is a grain-to-glass operation - utilizing ingredients from the neighboring farming community as a way to enhance and support sustainability as well as promote the terroir of their home state. The facility is a low-emissions distillery, harnessing the waste products from distillation to reuse on the Scanlan family farm. Spokesmen William H. Macy - world-renowned actor and the distillery's neighbor - joined the team after becoming curious about what was happening in his 'backyard'. Woody Creek Distillers has various premium selections available, including a classic Colorado straight bourbon, gin, vodka, and even a special bottle-in-bond release dedicated to William H. Macy himself!
