Founded in the 1990s by the Partida family - one of the oldest and most respected names of agave growers in the Tequila region of Mexico - Cava de Oro Tequila has a legacy of tequila-making that goes back over 6 generations. Launched officially by Don Gildardo Partida Melendez and Dona Leticia Hermosillo Ravelero, the brand's distillation facility is the first of its kind to be located in El Arenal, Jalisco, on the Tequila Route - aka the Guadalajara-Tepic highway; cited as the "gateway to the Agave Landscape". Both Melendez and Revelero began their journey in the agave fields, learning the traditions of planting, cultivation, and harvesting of exceptional agave plants, ensuring the most premium agave is used in every selection of Cava de Oro Tequila today. With the help of Alberta Partida, Tequila Master of Cava de Oro, the brand has developed a truly remarkable portfolio of tequila varietals, including; Cava de Oro Silver, Reposado, and Anejo - as well as special iterations such as Cava de Oro Extra Aged Black Anejo Tequila, which is rested for an additional 2 months longer in French white oak barrels for a perfectly matured palate and finish.
