The third release in the series - the Macallan Sir Peter Blake Single Malt Scotch is a specially-created whisky lavishly presented in a blue and green presentation box that houses the bottle, a certificate detailing the history and heritage on which the art was based, and a complementary Sir Peter Blake artwork printed on a scroll.…

About the brand

The Macallan is easily recognizable as one of the most prolific brands of elite-status single malt Scotch on the market today. The Macallan Distillery was founded in 1824 by school teacher and barley farmer Alexander Reid, soon after the Scottish Excise Act was passed to legalize the distillation of whisky. The brand specializes in high-quality single malt Scotch whisky and is one of the first brands of Scotch to take advantage of the marketability, taste, and profound influence available in the making of premium whisky – the scale of which has afforded Macallan ownership of up to 1/3 of the global single malt Scotch market. This could be Macallan's magnum opus. The most ridiculously luxurious whisky I've ever had the privilege of coming across - sweet and subtle, with a touch of class I'm yet to see from any other dram. Blake's artwork is spectacular and the whisky is just as sublime, if you are a fan of either then this may very well be the coup de grâce. Exceptional
