About the brand

A brand born and raised in Kentucky, Wild Turkey's name is a stamp of quality the world over. Distributing their bourbon through wholesalers in the early 1900s, the brand's name was conceived when one of their wholesalers took several warehouse samples on a wild turkey hunting trip where the bourbon was hugely popular. This is a great whiskey and the smell.. what cherry bomb! The only reason i didnt give it 5 stars is that it feels like its missing some of the spice that you get from the higher proofs made by wild turkey. It is smooth with its lower proof. This is the original Austin Nichols label version so its a well needed addition to the collection.
