Birthday Bourbon celebrates the birthday of George Garvin Brown, the founder of Brown-Forman and the current owners of the Old Forester brand. Sought after for its rich tapestry of flavours, the whiskey's profile is known to run through Summer fruits, buttercream, sugar cookies and apricots, with a palate that transitions to leather and stout oak, and a finish characterized by toasted almond and walnuts. However, unlike the standard Old Forester bottlings which are a blend of whiskeys from several different years, Birthday Bourbon is a vintage-dated release. Hence, each vintage is slightly different.
