Distilled in Spring 2011 and released in Fall 2017, this limited edition rye is double distilled and finished to 127.2 proof. Aged for 6 years and 5 months in 72 expertly selected new white oak barrels with #4 55-second charring, 2017 Thomas H. Handy Sazerac whiskey is composed of Minnesota rye, N. Dakota malted barley, and distiller grade #1/#2 Kentucky corn. The nose opens with mellow hints of sandalwood and curry spice tucked between bites of dates and oak.
