Introduced in 1939 by Samuel Bronfman of Seagram’s Ltd. in celebration of the royal tour of Canada by King George VI and his wife Queen Elizabeth, Crown Royal - originally Seagram’s Crown Royal – is award-winning Canadian whisky known for its smooth finish and flavor. Very oaky articulation from Crown Illustrious. Huge barrel impact from the thirteen years maturing. Tannic completion. Considerably more fascinating than some other Crown Regal Ive attempted. Certainly a drier Crown with little of that customary CR pleasantness to be found.
