This featured release is Kentucky Owl's Batch 9 Straight Bourbon Whiskey - a small batch, ultra-premium bourbon featuring a blend of four exemplary sourced distillates made from 4 distinct mash bills, namely; one 15 year, old two 14 yr old, a 12 yr old, a 7 year old, and a 6 year old selection. Bottled at 63.8% ABV (127.6-proof) and made available in October 2019 in just 10,314 signature Kentucky Owl bottles, this rare, coveted, and cult-fan-favorite features a powerful nose filled with hot cinnamon candies, vanilla, aged oak, and spice paired with a palate of sweet grape jelly, rivers of luxurious cream, and delicate florals laid over slivers of wood and caramel. …

About the brand

Formed in the late 19th century and closed for over a century due to the start of Prohibition, Kentucky Owl's story is a rather unusual one. Not many bourbon distilleries are resurrected after such a long hiatus, but Kentucky Owl rose from the ashes in 2010 and has been producing some of the finest, most full-bodied bourbon whiskeys this decade. Increasingly popular and with newfound cult status, the future is bright for this budding historical brand.
