A fine embodiment of Michter's commitment to excellence, the 25 Year Old Single Barrel Bourbon is perhaps the finest whiskey released by Michter's throughout it's storied history. Returning after a 3 year hiatus, the 2023 release celebrates the brand's recognition as the World's Most Admired Whiskey in Drinks International’s annual top 50 list - the first time an American Whiskey has been crowned the honor. Bottled at 58.1% ABV (116.2) and released in very limited quantities, this exceptionally flavorful bourbon was crafted from a select mash bill and matured to perfection over a quarter of a century in new charred American oak barrels. The result is a complex whiskey with exceptional mouthfeel. On the nose are aromas of rich cinnamon and fresh apple cider followed by thick, dark chocolate and oak barrel char. The palate showcases notes of baked apple and caramel sweetness with hints of candied, sugar-coated orange peel. The finish is extraordinarily long, leaning into spiced, dessert-forward sweetness.…
