Drawing inspiration from nature’s most enchanting transitions, Orphan Barrel Indigo's Hour 18 Year Old Straight Bourbon Whiskey symbolizes the delicate balance between transformation and tradition. Much like the lifecycle of a butterfly, which is beautifully represented on the bottle design, this bourbon undergoes a metamorphosis of it's own as journey’s from barrel to bottle with meticulous care and attention to detail. Crafted from a carefully selected mashbill of 68% corn, 28% rye, and 4% malt, Indigo’s Hour aged gracefully over 18 years in charred white oak barrels, resulting in an exquisite Straight Bourbon Whiskey. Distilled in Indiana, aged in Kentucky and bottled in Tennessee, each stage of this liquid’s journey contributed to its unique character and complexity. Bottled at 45% ABV (90-proof), the nose opens with creamy vanilla notes, followed by toasted oak, baking spices and red fruit. The flavor profile evolves on the palate with subtle hints of caramel, honey, rich vanilla and spice leading to a velvety finish with a touch of oak. Inspired by the fleeting time of day between dusk and dawn, when the sky is at it's most beautiful, Indigo's Hour is made in only one highly limited batch, and once it's gone, it's gone forever.…
