Released as a travel retail exclusive just in time for the lifting of travel restrictions put in place during the pandemic - the Ardbeg Smoketrails Manzanilla Edition Single Malt Scotch Whisky is truly a breath of fresh, salty sea air! This first edition iteration in the Smoketrails collection is cited as a collaboration with Ardbeg Distillery's canine mascot - Shortie - said to have sniffed out the best quality casks from various countries to be included in the series. This sublimely crafted single malt features classic Ardbeg cask whisky aged in American oak married with distillates matured in select ex-Manzanilla sherry casks. These special casks were sourced from Sanlucar de Barrameda, located just off Spain's Atlantic coastline. Bottled at 46% ABV, Ardbeg Smoketrails Manzanilla Edition offers a nose layered in smoke ash, island pomelo, and slivers of toasted lemon peelings.
